The Barn at Timber Creek Wedding – Farmville, Virginia

Ashley and Cody were married on May 5th, 2018 and had the sweetest and happy tears filled wedding at The Barn at Timber Creek.

After getting to know Ashley and Cody at their engagement session (you can find that here)…I knew their wedding day was not only going to be beautiful, but filled with raw emotion. The day started off with so much happiness and laughter. Ashley telling me several times “I am actually really not nervous at all” and of course, I could see that in her smile and as she walked around the getting ready house with her sweet ladies and mama just smiling and crackin’ jokes.

As we progressed later into the day, I started photographing are their precious moments and meaningful details that were seriously SO gorgeous and so sweet. Elisabeth with Edesigns, did such a beautiful job of capturing every little piece of the styling along side the GORGEOUS florals from Bloom by Doyles. It was gold you guys. Pure gold.

What was even more pure gold, was watching Cody’s reaction to Ashley walking down the aisle. Tears started to flow, and he just couldn’t hold it back. However, not many people got the close up view that I did with my zoom lens. Ashley in her own words had “BIG alligator tears” too!!! Oh it was definitely a wedding for the feels y’all!!!
