Sarah + Zach

A Atkinson Farms Wedding – Danville, Virginia

Sarah and Zach were married on April 21st, 2018 at one of my FAVORITE and super GORGEOUS venues, Atkinson Farms!

Why is Atkinson one of my favorite new wedding venues? Well, that would be because not only is the venue itself incredible, I mean…those CHANDELIERS you guys…STUNNING!!! But, because Zach, actually manages this venue! Yep, you read that right! To make it even these two even sweeter, Sarah, owns and runs her own PRECIOUS clothing boutique called Lizzy Lou Boutique in Danville as well. I am pretty sure I can say with confidence that these two definitely have that entrepreneur spirit and then some.

The then some part, comes with these two and their spirits. They seriously have the uncanny ability to make you feel like family almost instantly. Sarah and I met to go over the timeline at a local taco place, and let me tell you, by the end we were ready to set up our next date together! I just love her to pieces! After getting to know her and Zach, I just knew their wedding day would be nothing short of full of love, happiness, and a ton of gorgeous style to go with it. And I was right!

The day was full of gorgeous fresh floral centerpieces, and such gorgeous styling. I couldn’t get enough of the details you guys. More importantly, these two were surrounded by so many people that love them, and gave them a night to remember. Especially because the band was legit, INCREDIBLE and literally everyone stayed on the dance floor!

Congratulations again you guys!!! Married life looks GOOD on you two!!!

Their Love Story

When and where did you both meet?

We met at George Washington High School in math class, but we did not date in high school. We reconnected years later after Zach moved back from being in school in Arizona.

When did you know he was the one and vice versa?

Within a few months of dating, but it took a while for him to convince me to go out with him! LOL. He said he knew I was the one within 6 months of dating.

How did he propose?

We were together for 5 and a half years when we got engaged. We always go to Atlantic Beach, NC in June for the Big Rock fishing tournament with family and friends. He proposed on the beach with several of our friends and family there. We all decided to go down on the beach and set up dinner under some tents and hang out. Little did I know they all knew what was about to happen. We were all just standing around talking and he just got down on one knee. I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say. It was perfect! I always hoped he would do it at the beach during our favorite week of the year, but I never told him that. He just read my mind!
