A Mountain View Farm Wedding

Betty and Kaleb were married on May 20th, 2017 and had such a gorgeous Mountain View Farm Wedding.

I still cannot believe that BETTY ROSE and KALEB LONG are married y’all!!! Now, she’s Betty Long and it sounds SO good! Even during their engagement session (you can find that here) I remember thinking that these two have been together since practically middle school that it’s SO crazy I am taking their ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS right now! And now, I am sharing their WEDDING PHOTOS with you all!!!

Most of you may know, but if you don’t, Betty and I actually went to kindergarten and graduated high school together (OH NINE). So I’ve known her for QUITE sometime. I even remember these two having quite the connection in middle school. To see them and who they have grown into today…and to be asked to capture their sweet wedding day…it’s something I can’t even put into words how much I am SO thankful for.

Now, on to the wedding day itself! Mountain View Farm has actually been a place I’ve been driving past for SOME time you guys. Every single time I would daydream and think to myself “that oak tree would be SO pretty to photograph a sweet couple at.” Well, finally that day came with Betty and Kaleb! Mountain View has been doing weddings there for a just a few seasons now and it is GORGEOUS! Betty and Kaleb couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for them. With all of their beautiful decor, fresh florals by Betty’s Step-Mother, one of the BEST bands performing, and the sweetest family and friends around…it made for such an unforgettable day!

When and where did you both meet?

We met in Middle School and played baseball against each other in Dixie Youth.

When did you know he was the one and vice versa? 

I have always been head over heels infatuated with Kaleb. I chased after him for many years, but was always too scared to say anything. Everyone knew I liked him. Finally, he liked me back! When we started dating, we both knew it was all over, but one night after leaving his house, we sent each other the exact same text message at the exact same time. Both text messages said, “You’re the one”, and I sent mine and literally the next second received his that said the same thing.What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for? 

What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for? 

Kaleb took me on a trip to Gatlinburg to propose. We had a cute little one bedroom cabin in the woods. I planned for us to go zip lining on the second day and afterwards we stopped at a BBQ place. He was SO quiet and being SO weird. I kept asking what was wrong and I literally thought he was sick haha. After dinner we went to the Gatlinburg Needle, where you can see the entire town of Gatlinburg from way up high. After about 15 minutes of looking out at the views, Kaleb asked a man to take our picture, and when he did, we set up, smiling to take the picture and then he got down on one knee and proposed! The man was actually taking a video, so I have the whole thing on my GoPro!!
