A Berry Hill Resort Wedding – Halifax, Virginia

McKenzie and Taylor were married on September 1st, 2019 at on of my local favorites, Berry Hill Resort in Halifax, Virginia.

When McKenzie first emailed me about photographing their wedding, I remember thinking that this girl and I will get along just fine. Her impeccable eye for detail and keeping things clean, classy, simple, but oh so timeless and elegant really shined through many of our conversations. Of course, you know I couldn’t wait to see it come to life!

As I arrived on the wedding day, McKenzie was nothing but calm, cool, and collected. There’s just a certain way she carried herself that spoke volumes to the pure bliss she would be feeling all day long. My gracious. Everything came together so beautifully. All of her details and my gracious when she put that dress on….just wow! I really think she was 1,000% meant to be with this dress because it was absolutely stunning.

As she walked down the steps of the front of the mansion, Taylor eagerly awaited with big smiles and looking oh so sharp in uniform. As she got closer, his smiles got bigger, and bigger. Before we all knew it, there they were, sealing the deal with a sweet kiss and making their way back down the and through the saber arch as husband and wife! The rest of the night was such a joy to watch these two lock eyes with one another, and not to mention watching Taylor’s dancing skills. Now, that was a show in and of itself.
