Meet Mayghan and Cory!!!

So I HAVE to tell you this before I get into the details of their engagement session.  Mayghan had actually already booked this specific date to do a family session of her, Cory, and Axel (the handsome pup you’ll see in the photos below). We had already talked about outfits, location, and everything in between and we were EXCITED! WELL not even a couple weeks before their session…CORY PROPOSED!!!! AHHHHH!!! So, I immediately messaged her, jokingly of course, saying “looks like that ‘family’ session will have to turn into and ENGAGEMENT session now!” I kid you not, she immediately messaged me back and said “YES!!! AND WE WANT YOU TO BE OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!!!” Oh, I was in ECSTATIC!!!! AH!!!

So on to their engagement session :)

I had been driving past this GORGEOUS farm on my many back road trips over the years to Danville, Virginia. I had ALWAYS admired how stunning the sun sets over the hills while driving by. To my surprise when pulling down the long driveway lined with pine trees…Mayghan’s GORGEOUS family OWNED this farm right outside of Danville, and let me tell you, the sunsets there are even more INCREDIBLE than I had ever imagined standing on those hills! Oh my! God seriously has a way with his creation and a way with making these two sweet people for one another…
