Malinda and Dalton had their beautiful fall and oh so sweet Land’s End Plantation Wedding on October 14th, 2017!
Okay, seriously though, how PRECIOUS are these two?! I can’t get over how Dalton literally just wraps sweet Malinda up in his arms! It could have something to do with the height difference, haha, but I swear it just gives them the extra cuteness that makes my heart explode! When you’re around these two though, it’s more than just seeing that height difference that let’s you know they are just absolutley enamored with one another. I mean, ALL THE FEELS you guys! It’s PRETTY ADORABLE!!!
Naturally, moving on to the wedding day itself. Malinda and her mom made ALL the gorgeous details come to life. I swear, they had SUCH a vision! It was a FALL WONDERLAND! Is that a thing? If it wasn’t already these two DEF made it happen that is FOR SURE! All the gorgeous decor and leaves, made their guests feel so welcomed, especially at Land’s End Planation where they have the most CUTE barn in the back of historical house. SO GOOD!!!
The adorableness was nothing short of even more adorable on the wedding day itself. Malinda and Dalton choose to do a First Look. When I got there, something seemed REALLY unusual right off the bat. I had a VERY CALM bride on my hands you guys. RIGHT?! *GASP* but I could not be more serious! Malinda was completely calm and just ready to see her man. Of course, just as SOON as they saw each other, the tears started rolling and Dalton just grabbed her. Held her. Kissed her. He made her feel so at ease instantley and they laughed, hugged more, and walked down the aisle not even two hours later as HUSBAND AND WIFE!!!!
When and where did you both meet?
Dalton and I met in 2013 at Texas Roadhouse, I was his server along with twenty of his marine friends.
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
Malinda: I knew Dalton was the one the very first time he held my hand. He took a bit longer to decide he couldn’t live without me and I don’t believe he knew I was the one until after he came home from his first deployment after we had met.
Dalton: I do not know if so can point to a certain moment when I knew. It just kinda fell into place. It seems everyone else knew but me. My friends would tease me when we first started dating that I was gonna stay with her forever. And before I knew it I was down on one knee.
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Malinda: I love Dalton the most for his constant positivity and the way that he is always determined to make me laugh. He has always known exactly how to lift my spirits no matter what has me down.
Dalton: I love Malinda for her determination and drive to do whatever she can in order to make our future better. I’ve never met anyone who works as hard as she does and loves with all of her heart.
How did he propose?
Dalton surprised me by coming home early from a month long trip in the field. He texted me a picture of our front door and like a dummy I didn’t understand why he had sent that and assumed he meant to send it to someone else. He waited on one knee for me to come to the door and after about 10 minutes on the ground he finally came inside. I was shocked to see him and during my happy exclamations of “what are you doing here?!” He got down on one knee in our family room, with me in my sweats, and pulled out the ring and asked if I would spend the rest of my life with him.
