A Springfield Distillery Wedding
These two were married on April 29th, 2017 and had their ever so beautiful Springfield Distillery wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends.
It feels like just yesterday when Tracy texted me that she wanted to know what dates I had open in April of 2017, because she HAD to have me as her wedding photographer (still feeling SO many feels over that *insert crying emoji here*) and had the extra special feeling that Brandon would ask her hand in marriage soon. Well, not even two weeks after we chatted, BOOM! You guys, he put a ring on it!!! She texted me with SO much excitement!!! When you know, you just know, and those that know, know exactly what I am talking about.
It was pretty obvious during their engagement session (you can find that here) that the two were clearly the sweetest match for one another. Well, that was until their wedding day came at Springfield Distillery. They were on a different level of happiness. The whole entire day went about 20 minutes AHEAD of schedule all day, which is like SUPER rare y’all. I am telling you, it like never happen, but when the moment finally came for these two to embrace each other in a kiss, it was like watching pure magic happen right before my eyes. Completely enamored with one another.
God seriously never ceases to amaze me and has the most perfect timing. I am so, so grateful that I got to be a part of the magic of Tracy and Brandon’s wedding day. It doesn’t go without saying that the magic I am speaking of is pretty evident in these photos and I am ever so happy to sharing them with you all today!
Fun Fact: Tracy and Brandon were the FIRST wedding at Springfield Distillery EVER! And what a serious blast it was. Kelly and James Gordon (the owners) really outdid themselves with the building the alter, pavilion, and the custom wood benches for the ceremony. PLUS Tracy and Brandon’s guests got to enjoy custom tastings, the beautiful scenery, and each got to take home a #MALLARD Springfield Distillery glass. SO. GOOD.
When and where did you both meet?
April 2016, Faith Community Church
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
Tracy: It was relatively soon. He took me to an NC State baseball game and for ice cream afterwards and coming home that night I thought, “I’m going to marry this guy.”
Brandon: I knew she was the one when I asked her to go with me home to see my parents for the weekend just a few weeks after I met her and she said yes without any hesitation.
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Tracy: Brandon is the most compassionate person I’ve ever met. No matter what he does, his entire heart is invested and our relationship is no exception. His love for me overflows to every part of his life — from the decisions he makes to the way he talks to me — and I never imagined being cherished in the way that I have been with him. Daily he reflects Christ’s unconditional love and amazing grace to me.
Brandon: The one thing I love Tracy most for is how committed she is to both me and our relationship. She never hesitates to show how much love she has for me even when I may not deserve it in the moment. She is the love of my life.
