Lisa and James were married on September 23rd, 2017 and had quite the relaxing and oh so beautiful Chateau Morrisette wedding.
As I am typing, I still can’t believe these two are MARRIED and currently living the life in Italy! I mean, I am not jealous of that or anything…haha! On a more serious note, I am so excited to share their wedding day with you all!!!
To start, I had never met these two until they had me travel down to one of my FAVORITE places (now) Charleston, South Carolina. It was my first time ever experiencing the GORGEOUSNESS of what Charleston is all about. Well you guessed it, this is where I met them to do their engagement session (you can find that here.) Oh I was all kinds of happy my path crossed with theirs. You see, Lisa’s Grandfather was a photographer. Lisa and him would take old film cameras out and snap photos together. Teaching her the ins and outs. So, I knew she had a found love of photography. I mean, girlfriend takes photos, but she is also ABSOLUTLEY stunning in them too. Her bridal portraits at Chateau Morrisette were out of this world (you can find those here.)
Fast forward to September 23rd, oh my gosh you guys, what a magical day! From all the gorgeous fresh florals, to the beautiful horse and carriage Lisa’s parents surprised her with (coolest surprise EVER)…everything was just so lovely and so SO calm. I say calm, because that’s truly the feel of how the day was like throughout everything. So much love, and so much happiness. All so easily captured. There wasn’t a minute that went by that these two weren’t in complete happiness throughout the entire day!
When and where did you both meet?
We met on Match.
When did you know he was the one and vice versa?
I knew he was the one very quickly, maybe at the end of the first month, he took another year to realize, haha!
What’s the one thing you both love each other the most for?
Our sense of humor!
How did he propose?
He took the scrapbook I made him for our first year anniversary and added a page in the back with the question ” Will you marry me” along with pictures of our kitten Merlin at the time.
