Becca and Jimmy, ahem, JAMES, were married on June 22nd, 2019 at Walden Hall in Cumberland, Virginia.
My gosh!!! This past weekend was such a blast with these two! I knew from the second I rolled up at their engagement session (you can find that here), that these two would be ALL about having the BEST time, all the time! And boy, have we!!! I don’t think there are many moments when I am around these two that don’t involve a huge smile on my face, but mainly theirs. It was evident during their engagement session, but fast forward to their wedding day….oh SMILES TEN FOLD Y’ALL!!!
When I tell you this is literally my favorite wedding so far in my career as a wedding photographer, I cannot stress that enough! And it’s for a lot of a reasons, but let me tell you…there were SO many precious moments that made this day so special. You see, Becca’s father has early onset Alzheimers, and she made it a very, very special point to make sure she included so much of him on their wedding day. Y’all…from their first look, to him walking her down the aisle, and to the surprise first dance including each of Becca’s sisters…literally…their was not a dry eye in the house. Of course, after losing my Dad recently, I was literally sobbing behind my camera.
If I could replay this wedding day 20 times over, I totally would and more! Every little detail was so well thought and cared about, and Becca and Jimmy made it feel the same for not only their guests, but their vendors as well. Y’all…it was honestly just a magical day and I am so thankful I got to be a part of such a special time in their lives, and their families lives, especially with Becca’s father. This is when pictures are really more special than you ever could know.
